Fast Cure (Curing Salt)

Tillman’s Meats Fast Cure Curing Salt is ideal for curing all types of meats. Our 4oz package is enough for 100lbs of meat, so you don’t need a lot! Used mainly for making curing or bringing solutions as well as dry curing.

Sometimes referred to as Prague Powder #1 or Pink Curing Salt #1, Tillman’s Fast Cure is made up of 6.25% Sodium Nitrite and 93.75% Sodium Chloride or table salt.

Curing meats is best suited when smoking pork and poultry, as it adds moisture and flavor.
